The film won the Jury Prize at the Northwest Film Festival (1999), ran at the New York Underground Film Festival and at the Austin Film Festival. It was made by a Portland, Oregon film maker.
Johnny Johnston's Stand Up Safari - TV special shown originally on Canada's Comedy Network, March 14th, 1999 - The show features the talents of stand up comedian Johnny Johnston, who plays bagpipes as part of his act. It was shot on location in South Africa, at the South African Comedy Festival and in the bush near Kruger National Park.

It is a story of an expedition to the centre of the Earth. The opening scene show the Edinburgh City Police Pipe Band on parade playing Jennie's Bawbee.
Justinien Trouvé ou le batard de Dieu - 1993 This film is set in 17th-century southern France. It is by C. Flechner with P.O.Mornas, T.Holgado and B.P.Donnadieu. The music is from Germinal Tenas with Eric Montbel on the bagpipes (chabrette and musette from Centre-France) and Marc Antony on Hurdy Gurdy (only sound, not on pictures).
